The largest LED screen in the European Union!

Rineo Digital, a division that operates as part of the Rineo Sign Factory Group, successfully completed the production and installation of the largest LED display in the European Union at the beginning of this year. Installation of the load-bearing structure and installation of LED modules and electrical installations was performed within 35 working days. The screen was placed on the Palmers building in Austria, at a height of 50 meters. The total size of the screen is 51x20 meters or 1020 m2, which makes it the largest LED screen in the European Union.

 

The complete electrical and communication network and the main distribution cabinet (GRO) are the product of the Rineo Digital department. Over 6 kilometers of cable, 7 tons of steel construction and 13 tons of LED modules (approx. 1400 transparent cabinets) were used. Maximum brightness reaches 10,000 nits with DIP diodes and an incredible 20,000 MHz Refresh rate, almost in full HD resolution!

 

It is controlled by a Taurus TB6 / Novastar MCTRL4K controller with a capacity of up to 3840x2160 @ 60HHz that supports any resolution in that range. Software management is performed using the Nimote digital solution, which we developed in collaboration with Exevio. The maximum consumption per square meter is 77W, and the maximum power is 350kW. Wind resistance is 305km / ph.
